Literary fests foster a love for literature, celebrate eloquent writing, and spread the joy of reading. The Shishyans of classes IX to XI had the privilege of engaging with esteemed authors during a literary festival hosted by Daly College. This event, known as DC-G-Literati, attracted participants from 30 schools throughout India and was organised under the auspices of AFS in partnership with Valley of Words. During the Booktique, the tech-savvy trio of Chanakya Mane, Kaustubh Choudhary, and Shantanu Gupta delivered an impressive presentation that captivated the author, Ms. Shabnam Minwala. In a separate performance, the dynamic duo of Jayti Jain and Bhavika Kapoor brought the characters from the book Zen to life on stage, receiving a warm round of applause. The posters Sarangi Akheniya and Shagun Joshi designed exhibited remarkable creativity and effectively highlighted all the aspects of the book Zen. During the session with the authors, Hemangi Mohata, Samriddhi Sogani, and Pranshu Tripathi posed insightful questions that prompted the authors to reflect deeply. Overall, the event proved to be a valuable learning opportunity for our school's aspiring authors and passionate readers.
