Shishukunj Run: A 3 km Marathon and Inter-House Competitionback

"Of all the races, there is no better stage for heroism than a marathon."   - Dr. George Sheehan  An exhilarating and vibrant event occurred as young athletes from Classes VI to XII came together at the Shishukunj North Campus to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship in honour of National Sports Day. The students, along with the dedicated educators, eagerly participated in a 3 km ‘Shishukunj Run.’ An inter-house competition was part of the event, with eight participants from each house competing for individual honours and the title of best house in the marathon. Kalam House triumphed, earning the title of best house, followed by Dhyan Chand House in second place and Devi Ahilya House in third. The school heads awarded medals to the best performers from each class, and the sports department celebrated the winners with enthusiastic applause. Overall, the event was a remarkable success, demonstrating the fitness and endurance of the Shishyans and their Educators.
