India to Host ICP 2025 in New Delhi — Salwan Education Trust Leads Global Educational Dialogue

For the first time in history, India will host the prestigious International Confederation of Principals (ICP) Annual Council Meeting, set to take place in New Delhi from September 26 to 29, 2025. This landmark event will be hosted by the Salwan Education Trust, the founding Indian member of ICP since 2009, underscoring its pioneering role in educational leadership and global collaboration. With participation from over 40 principal associations and representatives from more than 20 countries—including Singapore, New Zealand, Finland, South Africa, Uganda, France, and Australia—the ICP 2025 Council Meeting is expected to engage over 200,000 school leaders in a dialogue on transformative education and policy innovation.
Presented under the theme “Leadership in Action,” the main conference at Aloft, Aerocity will feature a distinguished lineup of global and Indian thought leaders. Key speakers include Yuri Belfali, Head of Division for Early Childhood and Schools at the OECD; Pairic Clerkin, CEO of the Irish Primary Principals’ Network (IPPN); Dr. Shirleen Chee, Principal, Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Singapore; Mr. Ming Yaw Loo, Principal, Millennia Institute, Singapore; and Mrs. Leanne Otene, President of the New Zealand Principals’ Federation. From India, Sh. Himanshu Gupta, Secretary, CBSE, and Smt. Veditha Reddy, Director of Education, GNCTD, will bring critical national insights to the forum.

The event will be preceded by a Pre-Council Meeting on September 24–25 at Salwan Public School Gurugram , aimed at fostering early collaboration among participants.
