Please be informed that there will be an Early Dispersal of students on Tuesday, 15^th July 2025 at 12:45 pm as the School Management Committee Meeting is being planned in the school.

 

• School timings will be from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm.
• Buses will ply at the usual timings in the morning.
• Brunch will be provided to students.
• Buses will leave the school at 12:50 pm. Parents must make arrangements for picking up their ward from the pick-up point accordingly.

• Walkers must be picked from school at 12:45 pm.

Greetings!

 

We are delighted to inform you that we have organized an educational-cum-recreational visit to KidZania, Noida for the students of Nursery-II.

 

This trip aims to provide students with an opportunity to experience role-playing activities in a fun and interactive environment, encouraging creativity, decision-making, and social skills development.

 

Details of the trip are as follows-

· Venue- KidZania, Noida

· Date- Thursday 17th July 25

· Reporting time- 8:00 am

· Dispersal time- 3:00 pm

· Mode of transport- School bus

· Dress code- School uniform with ID card

· Charges- 800/-per child

 

The trip is optional. Those interested are requested to kindly give the consent by writing an email to the Class teacher and submitting the amount in a sealed labelled envelope by Tuesday 8th July 25.

 

The students (both the walkers and the bus users) to be dropped to school at 8:00 am. Buses will leave the school campus at 8:10 am sharp.

 

The students of Nursery-KG will be dispersed along with the senior students at 3:00 pm. Kindly make arrangements accordingly to pick walkers from school and bus users from the bus stop.

Olympiad examinations are qualitative and quantitative assessments, done at the national/ international level to promote scientific attitude and temperament. • Second Level Exams- May be conducted depending upon the feasibility. In case 2nd level exams are not conducted, results of 1st level exams will be treated as final results and winners will be finalized based on ranks in 1st level exams. 2nd level Olympiad exam will be held for IEO, NSO & IMO for classes 3 to 12 at a center finalized by SOF.

 

 

• REGISTRATION FEE: Students have to pay ₹ 150/ for each of the SOF they wish to appear for). Request you to send cash or a cheque in favour of RIDGE VALLEY SCHOOL to the class teacher along with the consent form given below.
• WORKBOOKS: Workbooks for GK, English, Math, Science, SST practice are available. The cost of each workbook is ₹ 100/-.
• No workbook is available for Hindi Olympiad.
• The cost of the Book of Reasoning is ₹ 150 for Grades II to V and ₹ 200 for

Grades VI to X.

  

The last date of sending the registration fee is Friday, 12^th July 2025.

This is to inform you that the school will be conducting the ‘Raise The Bar’ for Grade XII from Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Please find attached the important instructions, date sheet along with the syllabus.

 

Important Instructions:

1. The RTB will be conducted in the school hours.
2. Regular school timetable will be followed on non-exam days and students absent on non-exam days will not be allowed to appear for the exam scheduled on the following day.
3. The students must be in proper school uniform.
4. No student will be allowed to wear smartwatches or carry any other electronic gadget/appliance during exam time. If found caught cheating or carrying prohibited items, he/she will be booked under Unfair Means (UFM) and will be awarded zero marks.
5. The school follows a No Retest Policy. Parents are requested to ensure their ward is present on exam days.
6. The students must carry their own stationery. Borrowing of stationery is not allowed during the exams.

We are pleased to inform you that a Reading Programme has been introduced for the students of Grade V. Two sessions have already been successfully conducted with the students.

 

To share more details and strengthen the home-school partnership, an Orientation Session for parents has been scheduled on Saturday, 17th May, from 8:45 am to 9:30 am. We request you to be seated by 8:40 am, as the session will begin sharp at 8:45 am.

 

This will be followed by a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), during which each parent will have a designated 10-minute slot to discuss their ward’s progress with the class teacher.

EMERGING LEADERS FORUM

 

Dear Parents, (Primary) Grade V and VI

 

Greetings!

 

We are excited to share that Ridge Valley has partnered with the Asia Education Foundation and the Victorian Departments of Education to offer the Emerging Leaders Forum (Primary), specially curated for Grade V and VI students. The Forum provides opportunities for them to connect and collaborate with peers from around the world.

 

Students will deepen their understanding of identity, belonging and intercultural understanding and what it means to be a globally competent leader. 

They will undertake a collaborative learning task with local and international peers that is anchored in the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals, with the intention of implementing social change in their school communities. 

 

Program Structure: There will be three online sessions, each lasting four hours:

• Session One: Monday, 4th August 2025 (6:30 am - 10:30 am IST)
• Session Two: Tuesday 5th August or Wednesday 6th August 2025 (The final date will be confirmed to registered students.)  (6:30 am - 10:30 am IST)
• Session Three: Friday 8th August 2025 (6:30 am - 10:30 am IST)

 

Students will be allowed to attend these sessions at home and reach school later or bring their devices for attending the sessions on all working days. Details of the sessions will be shared with the students who want to register themselves. 

 

A briefing session for the selected students will be held on Tuesday, 29th July 2025 (7:30 am – 8:15 am IST).

 

Selection Process:

If you would like your child to be considered for this enriching opportunity, kindly email your confirmation of interest to the class teacher by Friday, 9th May 2025.

Those interested will participate in a panel discussion on the topic: “United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. This will be held on Tuesday, 13th May 2025.
 

Participants are expected to research the topic and come prepared for an engaging discussion.

 

Following this, 10 students (5 from each grade level) will be selected. Please note that Grade VI students who did not participate in the program last year will be given preference.

This forum will allow students to collaborate online with peers from local and international schools on projects focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving social change within their school communities.

 

The forum will also deepen their understanding of identity, belonging and intercultural understanding and what it means to be a globally competent leader.

 

There will be three online sessions of 4 hours each:

Greetings!  

 

Please be informed that an educational visit to the Samadhaan Hub has been organized for the students of Grades III to V on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025. The visit will be during school hours.

 

The objective of the visit is to sensitize students about waste reduction, segregation, and responsible waste management. Through this experiential learning opportunity, students will gain firsthand insight into how everyday waste can be sorted, reduced, and managed effectively to protect the environment.

 

We encourage students to carry different types of clean plastic waste (such as used plastic bottles, wrappers, containers, etc.) from home on the day of the visit. These items will be used to demonstrate segregation techniques and contribute to the recycling efforts of the hub.

 

Students must be dressed in their school uniform and must carry their water bottles, sanitizers, and sun caps. Wearing the school ID card is compulsory.

We are excited to announce that after a successful completion of our Online Exchange Program in the session 2024-25 with Grade VII students, we are extending our Sister School Partnership with Pakenham Secondary College, Victoria, Australia for the students of Grade IX (2025-26). Pakenham Secondary College was established in 1967, to provide education to a largely rural community. 

 

It will be a valuable and enriching experience for our students. This program aims to broaden our students' perspectives, enhance their understanding of global cultures, and foster meaningful connections with peers worldwide.

 

The program will require our students to meet their partners from Pakenham Secondary College online regularly and work on the assigned projects. The students are expected not to miss any sessions and actively collaborate to complete their learning tasks.

ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET

Dear Parents,

 

Greetings!

 

We are delighted to inform you that our ‘Annual Athletic Meet’ will be held on Saturday, 12th April’25 at RVS Grounds from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. This event is a celebration of energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship, and provides our young learners with an opportunity to showcase their athletic talents. Various fun-filled races, drills, and team events have been planned for students across grades, reflecting their hard work and team spirit.

 

We are pleased to invite you to join us for the Annual Athletic Meet. Please find enclosed the E-Invite for the event.

 

Please note:

1. All the students will be participating in the drills and races.
2. Practices for the event are underway. Please ensure that your ward attends school regularly.
3. On Saturday, 12th April, school buses will operate only in the morning, an hour earlier than usual. The walker students are to be dropped to school by 7:30 am.
4. Please ensure your ward has had a healthy breakfast before arriving. Packed meal boxes will be provided to students after their drill/ event.
5. Parents to be seated in the school ground by 8:15 am. The event will begin at 8:30 am.
6. Students will come dressed in their House Uniform/ Sports Day costume from home as instructed by the class teacher.
7. Students who have qualified for the final leg of races will carry their House Uniform to change into before the races. 
8. Parents can pick up their children from their respective classes after the event. No child will be dispersed till the event concludes.

 

We warmly invite you to join us for this special occasion and cheer for the participants. Your presence will add enthusiasm and motivation to the participants.
