VALEDICTION CEREMONY, GRADE XIIback

Mayor World School experienced a profoundly moving and awe-inspiring spectacle as it hosted the Valediction Ceremony for Grade XII, Session 2024-2025, on 25th January 2025. The programme commenced with an eloquent welcome address by the Principal, Ms. Divya Keni, who extolled the batch as one of the brightest, and inspired them with her motivational speech, urging them to leave their mark on the world while upholding the School’s motto of ‘Inspiring Excellence.’ Grade XI students captivated the audience with stellar dance performances, role plays, and engaging games arranged for their seniors. The students of outgoing batch looked enchantingly elegant in their vibrant attires. The day was a celebration of the cherished years spent with friends and teachers, evoking joyous memories. Mesmerising dance routines and enthralling musical performances electrified the atmosphere. The stage was set ablaze as Grade XII students participated in a scintillating ramp walk. The Farewell Pageant, judged by the Principal and the Special Educator Ms. Pooja Arora, saw Manya Tiwari and Imaan Singh Mand crowned as Miss Mayorite and Mr. Mayorite, respectively. Additionally ,Aanya Mehra,Pritansh Dhawan ,Abhavya Gupta and Rehanvir Singh Gill were honoured with titles of Miss Charming, Mr. Handsome, Best Outfit (Female), and Best Outfit (Male), respectively. Valedictory speeches and an array of colourful presentations by Class XI students fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among the Mayorites. Fun titles, amusingly bestowed upon the outgoing students, brought forth a wave of nostalgia, recalling each student’s personal journey at school. The Head Boy, Harshbir Singh, and the Head Girl, Sahiba Makkar, expressed their heartfelt gratitude and love for the Vice Chairperson, the Principal, the Vice Principal, and the teachers who had consistently guided them on the right path over the years. The Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neerza Mayor, imparted her blessings to the students of Grade XII and expressed her hope that they would continue to excel in the future. The event concluded with the distribution of souvenirs, group photos, a cake-cutting ceremony, and delectable lunch . The students danced exuberantly and captured memories with friends and teachers to cherish forever. The ceremony culminated with the Vote of Thanks.
