Mayor World School celebrated this spirit of Christmas with joy and cheer on 23rd December 2024. The magic of this festive season was replicated with great enthusiasm and fervour. The school foyer was transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with mobile hangings of snowflakes, snowman twinkling lights, colourful decorations, and the children’s favourite Santa Claus. To commence the merriment, a special assembly was conducted by the primary students. The reverberating sounds of children’s laughter and gaiety, garbed in the hues of green, red and white were a sight to behold. Varied engaging activities were conducted for the students.Starting with the youngest from the Mayor Galaxy wing, the celebrations were filled with joyous carol singing and exciting games. The students of Grades I and II continued the cherished tradition of exchanging gifts, followed by lively dancing. The sounds of tapping feet and children’s laughter filled the air, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Meanwhile, a flurry of innovative activities captivated the students of Grades III to V , who showcased their creativity through the charming act of ‘Writing a Letter to Santa’. The senior students celebrated the Yuletide season with captivating role-plays, embodying the festive spirit through their performances. They embraced new resolutions, vowing to carry them forward into the New Year. These grand festivities were meticulously overseen by the vigilant management, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The essence of Christmas filled the hallowed halls of the institution, spreading warmth and joy throughout. Christmas at Mayor World was celebrated with unparalleled enthusiasm, marking a memorable and joyous occasion.
