“The harmony of the universe lies in the balance of the five elements, each one essential and yet incomplete without the others.” Serenity and tranquility enveloped the turf of Mayor World School as the students of Grade IV celebrated their Annual Function on 2nd December 2024, on the theme, ‘ Pancha Bhuta- The Five Elements of Life.’ The entire event was based on the silent power and harmony of water,earth, fire, air and space , which was depicted beautifully by the talented Mayorites. The celebration consisted of dances, poetic verses and role – play based on teachings. Conceptualised with vibrant hues of nature, the performances given by the students transfixed the audience with their coordination, fluidity of movement and eloquent facial expressions. The essence, value and power of these components of the environment on the universe reached the spectators through their spell-binding presentations. The function was honoured by the presence of the Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor, the Principal Ms. Divya Keni, and the Vice Principal Ms. Charu Trehan. The distinguished Ms. Vani Vij, the Director of the Dainik Sawera newspaper, Sheetal Fibers, and Chinar Forge Ltd., presided as the Chief Guest. The ceremony commenced with a tribute to the element of ‘fire’ through the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm and heartfelt Welcome Address delivered by the Principal. Subsequently, a breathtaking sequence of five classical dance performances captivated the audience, each performance vividly embodying the essence and energy of one of the five elements. The precision of the choreography, seamlessly synchronised with the symphony, brought the power and beauty of the Pancha Bhuta to life in a magnificent display of artistry. The dynamic Chief Guest then graced the stage, delivering an inspiring address that resonated deeply with all present. The event concluded with a spectacular culmination of the five elements in perfect harmony, symbolising their unified synergy. Ms.Inderjit Kaur, the Coordinator of Grade IV ,proposed the Vote of Thanks.This was followed by a heartfelt salute to the Nation through the National Anthem, evoking a profound sense of patriotism. The atmosphere of the campus seemed to radiate an indescribable aura—one imbued with the timeless wisdom and message of the five mighty elements, leaving an indelible impression on every heart.
