We are pleased to inform you that Delhi Public School, Patiala is organizing DPSP Model United Nations 2026 on 10–11 October 2026 at the school campus. This event is for students of Classes VI to XII.

DPSP MUN provides students with an opportunity to engage in structured debate and diplomacy while developing their skills in public speaking, research, negotiation, critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving.

The conference will feature the following committees:

- UNGA DISEC: Addressing the issue of arms trade worldwide, with special emphasis on the lack of regulation on procuring weapons.
- UNCSW: Abortion Rights and Reproductive Autonomy — addressing access, regulation and women’s rights.
- AIPPM: Managing Dissent and Protests in India, with special emphasis on police conduct, civil liberties and democratic accountability.
- Moot Court (Classes IX–XII): Criminal case simulation involving cybercrime and digital privacy (case-study based).
- International Press: Opportunities for students to participate as photographers, journalists and caricaturists.
- IPL Auction: Mega Auction of IPL 2027.
- WHO (Classes VI–VIII | Beginner): Regulation and integration of the increasing role of science and technology in the health sector, with special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence.

We are pleased to inform you that Athletics Selection Trials for students of Classes IV and V (Boys & Girls) will be conducted on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.The trials aim to identify students who demonstrate potential in various athletic disciplines and may be selected to represent the school in upcoming competitions. Students participating in the trials are requested to be present in  the school on the given date and follow the instructions of the Physical Education teachers.

This is to inform you that the Punjab State Government has declared Friday, 31 July 2026, as a public holiday on the occasion of Shaheed Udham Singh Martyrdom Day.

In compliance with the State Government's notification, the school will remain closed on the said date.

To compensate for the lost working day,  the school will remain open on the Second Saturday, 8 August 2026, between 7.50 am-12.15 pm for all students (Std 1-10) and staff.

To promote a love for reading and to keep our students informed about the world around them, we are encouraging students to subscribe to the Student Edition of The Tribune. This specially curated edition will be delivered in school on all working days, offering age-appropriate news, informative articles, and engaging content to help enhance students' general awareness and reading habits. Interested students may kindly submit a subscription amount of ₹250/- to their HRTs. This amount will cover 180 days of newspaper delivery during the academic session. The amount can be sent to the HRTs in an envelope stapled in the student Almanac from the 6th of May till the 8th of May 2026.
