As the region experiences an intense heatwave, the health and safety of our students remain our utmost priority. We request your cooperation in ensuring that your ward remains well-protected during this extreme weather. Kindly take note of the following important precautions:

Hydration is Key: Ensure that your child carries an adequately filled water bottle. Encourage them to drink water at regular intervals to stay hydrated. Please send a small helping of any seasonal fruit in the fruit tiffin. 

Appropriate Clothing: Please ensure that your ward wears comfortable cotton inner wears under the uniform. 

Nutritious Diet: Provide a light, home-cooked meal in the tiffin box. Avoid fried and oily food items that may cause discomfort in the heat.

Avoid Outdoor Exposure: Students are advised to avoid direct sunlight during peak hours. 

Health Monitoring: If your child shows symptoms of heat exhaustion—such as dizziness, nausea, or fatigue—please let them rest at home and inform the class teacher.

We are continuously monitoring the situation and will take all necessary steps to safeguard our students. Your support in reinforcing these precautions at home will go a long way in ensuring their well-being.

To promote a love for reading and to keep our students informed about the world around them, we are encouraging students to subscribe to the Student Edition of The Tribune. This specially curated edition will be delivered in school on all working days, offering age-appropriate news, informative articles, and engaging content to help enhance students' general awareness and reading habits. Interested students may kindly submit a subscription amount of ₹290/- to their Class HRTs. This amount will cover 200 days of newspaper delivery during the academic session. The amount can be sent to the HRTs in an envelope stapled in the student Almanac from the 21st of April till the 24th of April 2025. .

With immense pleasure, we wish to share with you that Delhi Public School Patiala is now a CES (Cambridge English School) and a certified Exam and Preparation Centre for Cambridge Assessment English. Stepping ahead in the upcoming session 2025-26, DPS Patiala is offering Cambridge English Qualification Tests, at YLE (Starters, Movers & Flyers), A2 KEY (KET), B1 Preliminary (PET) & B2 FIRST(FCE) levels. These Qualification tests enable the learners to build a strong language base in English by enhancing all the major skills in the English language. Till the primary level (Grade 3-5) the course is integrated into the curriculum to build and develop fluency and proficiency in English language from the early years of the learners.

Kindly send your consent to the HRTs latest by April 15,2025. The cost of the book is included in the Exam Fee.
