Policy for Admission in Class XI (Session 2022-23)

Admission Criteria:

Preference will be given to students who have cleared SSE (Class-X) Board Examination in 2023, through APSM.
For Non APSMstudent’s admission process will open only after the students of APSM have completed the admission procedure and only if seats are remaining.

General Information:

Admissions are open for class XI for the Academic Session 2023-24. The Registration Form will be available on School’s website www.adanipublicschool.org from Friday, 29^th May 2023.
Please go through the Admission Policy very carefully before filling the Registration Form.
1. There is no point in filling the Registration Formif the applicant does not qualify as per the Admission Policy.
2. Subject selection should be done purely on the bases of marks obtained in Board exams and as allowed in the Admission Policy (variance from this will not be entertained).
3. Different subjects will be considered for different streams/ subject combinations.
Incomplete Registration Form and Registration Formwith false information will not be considered and shall be treated as invalid.
Filling theRegistration Formis in no way a guarantee for admission of the candidate. The School reserves the right to accept or reject the request.
Merit Lists will be prepared from the number of valid requests based on the Admission Policy and admission will be offered accordingly.
Don’t try any unfair means to take admissions. No recommendation will be entertained for admission. No one has been authorised by the management, except the Principal of the School to take decision in this regard.
Merit List will be prepared for the admission in the stream chosen by the student as per the following norms:

PCM	Subject	Minimum Marks (Out Of 100)
	Mathematics	80 in Math Standard*
	Science	80
	English	60

Note: As per the CBSE, it is necessary for a student to have appeared for Mathematics Standard in Class X to be eligible for taking Mathematics in Class XI.

Important Notes:

Regular attendance is mandatory. The CBSE as well as the State Government are provided with the details of student attendance. As per the CBSE it is mandatory for students to have a minimum of 75% attendance in an academic session to be allowed to appear in final examinations.
Note For Non-APSM students:
1. Admission process will open only after the students of APSM have completed the admission procedure and only if seats are remaining.
2. Even then the candidates are supposed to fulfil the admission criteria & clear the interview.z
Documents required at the time of admissions:

A) For Non-APSM students:-

1. Transcript of the Marks Sheet verified by the Principal of previous school. (Admission will remain provisional till original Marks Sheet issued by the Board is not produced for verification).

2. Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate (Original) of previous school.

3. Photocopy of Date of Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation (Bring original for verification when called).

4. Photocopy of the Address proof of the Parent (Bring original for verification when called).

6. Photocopy of the Report Card of Class IX.

7. Photocopy of the AADHAR card of the student and parents.

8. UID no. of the student from previous school.

9. Cheque for Fee submission (Amt. can be enquired in advance).
